Robert and Jean White Salsa Congress Organisers have been hosting Salsa workshops and club nights since 1999.

1. Robert and Jean White - Salsa Enthusiasts

Robert and Jean White Salsa Congress Organisers and the founders of Mambo City are the promoters of the now world famous 5* Salsa Congress, which is held at the 5* Radisson Hotel near London's Heathrow Airport.

When I started going to their Salsa events, I noticed there was a certain style and sophistication to all the venues that they were being held. Let's be honest not all the venues that host Salsa events or club nights have the best decor (who cares anyway for as soon as you start dancing nothing else matters).
However Robert and Jean to me have been instrumental in adding a touch of class to Salsa events.

I first noticed them when I was taking my first dance classes with Ramiro Zapata of Paraguay and they were always coming during the classes and greeting him. I always wondered, 'Who are these people? They must be pretty important.'. They were obviously planning something. Now I know what it was.

2. Robert and Jean - UK Salsa Events Organisers

Robert and Jean organise many Salsa events around London and the UK.

On a local level their company Mambo City organises classes and club nights around West and Central London.

They have club nights in Ealing and Wembly, and now plusher venues at the Gallery in Hendon and the Prodigal in the City of London.

They also promote the Summer Salsa Splash at Hayling Island in Hampshire.

3. Robert and Jean - The International Salsa Promoters

On an international level apart from the 5* Salsa Congress at Heathrow in London, Mambo City also organises Salsa Holiday trips to Cuba and Spain on a yearly basis and are now taking their Salsa Splash for its inaugural international debut in Spain in October 2006.

Mambo City have also brought a lot of international artists to the UK including Eddie Torres (5* Congress), Thomas Guerrero and his SantoRico dance troupe, Nelson Flores and his Descarga Latina dance group, Frankie Martínez and many others.
