Mambo NY Style Salsa "On 2" is very popular in Miami.
However there are many Clubs that cater for other types of Latin Dance as well such as LA Style Salsa "On 1", Cuban, Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and the rest.

1. Cafe Mustique.
Here every Thursday night there is a free basic class
including the Rueda with Ramani Nicola of Salsa Casino Dance Studios and the biggest Rueda in Miami. There is also some Casino style and some Timba on Sunday nights.
There is no cover charge on Thursdays and Sundays. However on Fridays and Saturdays when there are live Latin bands there is a cover charge.
The Venue is located at 7250 NW 11 St., Miami. Directions: Take 836 and exit on 72nd Avenue, next to the Days Inn Hotel. Formerly the Spirit Lounge.

2. - Kaffee Krystal Night Club
The dance days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They play Merengue,Cumbia, Bachata and 70% Salsa.
The location of this club is: 10855 S.W. 72nd Street Miami, located off 106th Avenue, and Sunset Drive.

3. - Las Tavernas de Wancho
The dance days are Fridays and Saturdays. There are two dance floors and the music, on a Friday is 80% Salsa and 20% Merengue.
On Saturdays the crowd is larger and you get about 50% Salsa but after 1:00pm you tend to get a lot of Cumbia. It is better to take a dance partner as there are mainly couples.
