i. The Club

Of all the Clubs in Essex, those run by Terry Lewis and Yolanda Chandler of Salsa Chillout fame are certainly the most prominent. Although they do not mention how long they and they been promoting Salsa events, I know for a fact that they have been involved in Salsa for at least 10 years.

ii. The Organisers -
Terry and Yolande, perhaps the largest organisers of Salsa in the Essex area, run LA style classes at Southend, Chelmsford, Marks Tey (nr Colchester), Billericay and Brentwood.

They also have club nights at different venues from once a week to once a month, and organise quarterly salsa workshops at Marconi in Chelmsford.

They won the UK Congress Salsa Award 2005 as the Top regional promoter.
