When I started Salsa over 10 years ago Salsa was popular with Cuban Salsa pedominating but over the past 3 or 4 years there has been an explosion of Latin music, especially Salsa in the UK and NY Style "On 2" Salsa has become very popular.

In virtually every major town in the UK you can find Salsa clubs and classes, and every week, or even more frequently, a new club springs up somewhere or someone starts a sequence of classes and courses.
