Taking a Salsa Lesson in Croatia is the start of your Salsa experience.

Hi folks. Salsa has not been around very long here but it obviously is making a very big impact with many a salsa lesson in Croatia.

I was at the 5 Star London Salsa Congress at Heathrow at the end of April 2006 and danced with a young lady who was a very good mover and very enthusiastic. I asked her where she was from and she said she was from Croatia and was organising the 2nd Croatian Congress, called the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival.

This shows just how Salsa is spreading and crossing all boundaries, with Salseros and Salseras all over the world travelling to the main Congresses to learn the different styles and to gain more experience. Therefore without further ado, I will attempt to let you know what's happening on the Croatian Salsa Scene.

Vladimir Semencic & Daniela Trtinjak run Los Mamberos who describe themselves as a very enthusiastic group of dancers and salsa instructors who like salsa and dancing, beautiful women and men, know how to enjoy themselves and like winning.

Their enthusiasm has led them to organise the first Croatian Salsa Congress called the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival in 2005. They know nothing is perfect and so with their winning attitude, they hope to make this year's event, which is on 22nd - 25th June even better.
